Carpeted bunkboards provide proper center loading even in wind or side current conditions. 2'' x 4'' X 24" boards tilt to hug the hull and are covered with high grade marine carpet. Height of 21'' with adjustment out to 13" from frame on each side. Can be mounted on top of frame for extra height. Complete with mounting hardware to fit frames up to 3'' wide x 4-1/4'' high.

Product description and specs clearly state that it fits 3” frame trailers, including one of the images in the description. However the U bolts included are 3.5” not 3” width (see photo), leaving the bracket not sturdy, and able to rotate if force is applied by the boat at an angle while landing. Or it forces you to possibly over tighten like some of the other review images to bend the bracket and U bolts to achieve stability. It’s beyond stupid that the U bolt size does not match the product description, and even the pre drilled holes in the bracket are not spaced to receiver a 3” U bolt ehoch would let it fit securely on the trailer.

These bunk boards were just what I was looking for to end my frustration of a moving boat while trying to trailer it. Lined boat up perfectly and it was easy on the first try. Solved the problem, easy to install and seem durable though only used once. Big time saver and the price was right.

As designed, the guide pad sat too low to assist centering the boat when I was trailering (meaning the boat was floating above the pad when I drew it up with the winch on the trailer). I took off the 24" pads that came with the kit and slid on 2" PVC pipe which fit perfectly on the square tubing. The slight angle of the guide tubes works well - the boat centers itself as I pull the trailer out. The mounting bracket that came with the kit allows direct mounting to a frame member. I use 6X 1/4-20 bolts for each.
