I use these clips on my fenders when the rope is at least 1/2” in diameter. Any smaller in diameter, the rope slips through the cam.

When you are docking at a restaurant or else , time is important . These allow you to adjust your bumpers quickly so you don't look like that idiot captain everyone laughs at.

Like the title says, 2/3 broke within a year of use. Great idea, but I would pay extra to have them made of something more durable. Always keep your fender tied somewhere in addition to these clips.

I've had these for about a half season before using them to tie up to another boat. For whatever reason, the plastic clip gave way and broke. Disappointed I contact the seller- who in no time at all asked for a picture of the broken product and promptly sent a replacement once I got the picture to them. These are so versatile and easy to use. I really wouldn't want them to be made of anything else. So I am completely satisfied and even more so by their professional response to my issue. Hats off !

    These were easy to use and make adjustments to boat fenders a snap. I wish they were a little beefier. They feel like the black plastic would crack if they were accidentally stepped on.

    The metal clip does come out past the lip if tweaked. Wish it had a notch to lock it.

    They work fine but could use a slightly larger opening to go over a 1 1/4 square rail to make them more universal.

    Be careful what you use them for. I use them for the bumpers on the side of my boat. Easy on and off and easy to adjust.But I would not trust them to hold a great deal of weight. Very light and feel cheap.
