The inside of the pencil bags is finished with a very cheap material - like an interfacing. This isn't shown in the product photos. It's a big disappointment.

These pouches are so nice and easy to work with! I’m currently painting custom images on the pouches and I can say acrylic paint goes on these bags so nice. The paint doesn’t bleed through the other side of the pouch. The pouch doesn’t have much loose lint or frayed fabric pieces at all. I washed a few bags before painting to see if there was a major difference in the outcome and I don’t see much of a difference. You can immediately begin crafting on these pouches or wash before hand to be safe but honestly it’s not needed.

These are very nice little canvas bags. They received the fabric markers and sharpies that we used on them for birthday party crafts. They’re not super scratchy and every zipper I tried worked great.
