Works well for a $4 rope. I paid more for it but it's not worth more than $4 since its made with cheap material. You can find a better one for $8.

I'm 5'5" and ordered this jump rope to use as warm ups for my workouts. I purchased a 9' rope based on the suggestions I've read online, and it was definitely too long for me. I simply cut about a foot off and re-screwed the screw at the end. Problem solved! It's kind of a cheap rope but it does the job. Not amazing, but for the price I have no complaints.

This rope kicks it bigtime! All of the ropes I've tried cost much more money and still don't outperform this simple, light, effective rope. Takes some time to get the kinks from shipping out, but that is same with all plastic-type ropes - not a problem anyway if you spin it fast enough. Handles roll freely, no binds and you can whip it round super fast! The 9' is perfect size for my 5-9 height - make sure you get the proper length though... this rope is NOT adjustable.
