  • What are the DPI requirements and accepted formats for artwork?

    Accepted Artwork File Types

.EPS, .AI, .PDF, .PSD, .JPEG, .PNG, .TIF, .GIF

We prefer files in .PDF, .AI, or .EPS formats.

If your file format is different, please contact our support team at supportb@opentip.com. We will assist you in converting your artwork to a vector file with fonts converted to outlines within 1 business day.

    Uploaded Artwork Requirements

    1.Resolution

Your uploaded artwork file needs to be at least 300 dpi or in vector art format. If your image is below 300 dpi, please do not simply increase the resolution. Increasing the resolution of a low-dpi image will only make it blurry and pix-elated, which is not suitable for printing.

    2.Web Images

Images taken from websites are usually 72 dpi, which is insufficient for printing. Additionally, there could be copyright issues when using web images, so we advise against using them in your artwork. The exception would be if you purchased the image from a stock photo website at a high resolution.

    Summary

To ensure your design is printed in the highest quality, please make sure your uploaded file meets the required format and resolution of at least 300 dpi or is in a vector format. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact our support team.
