Had a set of TeraFlex Long arms that had rusted badly sitting in Salt water .. I did not think they where salvageable.. But he TAP was cheep so i thought i would give it a go... Wow was i wrong ... A Bit a Lube and the tap cleaned up the threads so well .. New arms would of been a couple of hundred bucks and this TAP is my new friend, no more cutting off control arms bungs and rebuilding arms .. The best big is this 1.25 x 12TPI is used in All Rough Country, Rubicon Express and Jonny Joints so very little money for a great tool... Just add a 1 inch Socket to the top and fits ya impact

I was buying this because I wanted to tap a blind hole. But unfortunately my kit did not come with one of each, it came with 2 tapers and one plug taps. No bottom tap, which was the one I wanted. Will update if issue is solved quickly.

I needed this 5/16th inch tap to make the holes larger for the new legs for our sofa which were 5/16ths inch in diameter. The original legs on the sofa used a slightly smaller diameter bolt. I was able to put this tap into my electric drill and bore out the holes to 5/16th inches to accommodate the new legs. I was very pleased with the tap, it worked great and I could twist on the new legs with ease and tighten them to where they will satay on this was a great purchase and allowed us to modify the couch to our needs. Great product.

The product description for the set states one each of the following. 1 Taper tap, 1 plug tap, 1 bottom tap. The set I received contained 3 taper taps. The size was correct and the quality seemed to be quite acceptable with no burs and evenly ground teeth and flutes, but the style of the taps differs from the description and photos.
