I got my package quickly on time. Seems to be a good motor have not put in use yet . I open the cover to pecker head start to inspect wires and look to see all wires are identified. I noticed a wire was smashed right by the wire marker. No big deal none of the conductors were broken but gone unnoticed could have shorted out with vibration. Taped up for now will heat shrink when I connect it to motor stater inspect closely

Frame mounted up same as factory on my band saw, heavier duty weight actually balances my saws pivot point better than the original, does not big down on thicker steel. Kicking a$$ so far after 3 monthes.

Took a chance and it cost me. I tried to save a few dollars but it cost me hours of waisted time waiting and then installing a bad motor. I Had an electrician test to verify. Something was wired wrong internally from factory. Motor just hummed. So I Went back to a USA motor from town. It cost more but was a sure fix and quality motor from a hometown distributor.

I have found, in industry at least that the newer energy efficient motors cannot be used for a direct replacement for older equipment , as older equipment draws a higher amp load. This causes the New motor to over heat and trip overloads. Replacing a hp with a hp worked well.Granted it's application was to be power for an ancient homemade wood lathe.Wiring instructions were complete. Got proper rotation the first time. Thats a plus right there.
