Mission: The Haven provides shelter and finds adoptive homes for abused, homeless and neglected animals, treating them with love, respect, and medical care. Through education and volunteer programs, we promote community awareness of pet overpopulation and responsibility. The Haven is a non-profit sanctuary for animals that will be cared for regardless of how long it takes to find them loving homes.

Results: Over 9,600 homeless cats and dogs have found loving homes since The Haven began in 2000.

Target demographics: reduce the number of cats and dogs euthanized in area open-admission animal shelters.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 482 cats and dogs saved, 465 pet placements, and 143 lost pets reunited with owners.
