This is my first vacuum sealer, but I've wanted one for a long time. I am happy this came with not only a roll of bag material but also a couple of bags with the vacuum seal on the outside. The instructions are well written and accurate. In particular, it says to not run the seal operation more than once per minute. I ignored this when I first tested and it let off a burning smell; I am not knocking off any stars for that because that was me willfully ignoring the instructions but also because the unit still works perfectly.To use, you simply open the unit, roll out as much material as you need and cut the bag using the built-in slicer. Then you put one end on the sealing strip and press Seal which only takes 5-10 seconds. After that you fill the bag and then put the open end into the vacuum area which is right next to the seal strip. Press Vac/Seal and it will quickly vacuum out the bag and then seal it. Works great! Bag material is nice and tough (I had to cut it to reopen it without spilling everything inside). Highly recommend.

Once I figured out the instructions this vacuum sealer was so easy to use and work great. We buy a lot of meat so vacuum sealing them and packing them into the freezer was so satisfying.

My previous vacuum sealer finally quit working last year and it was past time to replace it. I liked that it was black since most of the small appliances in my kitchen are black. This slipped easily beside my large electric frying pan and I stuck the accessories in a nearby drawer.I had a Presto Chicken Bucket I used for many years until I realized fried foods were not my friend. The brand has been reliable and I felt good buying this. The price was comparable to other known brands. I didn't have a good feeling about buying some of the cheaper brands because of electrical problems and fire risks.I hope that everyone knows of the benefits of sealing their meats and vegetables. It keeps foods fresh longer and saves money by buying in bulk. I enjoy sealing meat with a marinade to have it ready to cook when thawed. Does anyone have a sous vide? I don't but it is the next toy. There are so many great convenient and time-saving appliances today. This is one that will save time and money and I think it is great!

This sealer will come in handy for bulk buys. I'm also a homebrewer and frequently have extra hops on hand. This will be useful to see off those essential oils.Out of the box, this was fairly easy to set up. I do wish there was some more integrated storage or something because there are a few extra pieces that don't have a place, but a small price to pay to have a nice sealer on hand.I'm not familiar enough with the sealer community to know if bags are a standard commodity but I have enough to get started and time will tell!

Hefty but really useful. This vacuum sealer works as well as I expected and is easy to use straight out of the box. The built-in bag roll storage with a built in cutter is the best part about this sealer. The cutter slices through the plastic like butter and now I don't have to play with a ruler to cut a straight edge on my bags. The included hose to seal a reusable bag is also really neat but you only get one reusable bag with that. So far no issues with the vacuum and heat sealing

This is a must have for any kitchen. Freezing items in vacuum bags is critical to keeping them fresh longer.

I ordered another brand in the past and hated it. It was so difficult to use, that I was almost going to pass this one up. I am glad I took the chance. This one is so easy to use and it is great to ensure my frozen food will stay longer.
