Being vegan and salt sensitive, I have tried to find a vegetable broth in the supermarkets that not only has flavor, and does not have hundreds of milligrams of salt. Well, I couldn't. In fact most broths taste terrible and have upwards of 550 mg of salt per serving, which is usually four serving per container, and that is a lot of salt! Salt is a CHEEP flavor enhancement that so many companies use, and is put into almost everything you buy, even Ice cream. Also, packaged supermarket broth only comes in one quart liquid form, so you either have to use it all at once, or store it and hope it doesn't go bad. There is an alternative to this and it is "Frontier Co-op Vegetable Flavored Broth Powder." Made only of pure and natural ingredients with no chemicals. It is simple to use, takes minutes to make, only make as much as you need, and is fresh every time. Best of all there is just 20 mg of salt per serving, yes you heard that right, only 20 milligrams, and tastes absolutely delicious. I will never go back to the store bought liquid stuff. I highly recommend this company and its incredible product.

Frontier Co-op Vegetable Flavored Broth Powder tastes amazing. I have used it mixed with water for rice, gluten-free pasta, sauces, and soups with terrific results. It has a very strong flavor and I would recommend that if you are making a recipe with a few veggies in it to halve the amount of broth powder. This broth powder actually tastes like it was made from scratch and is delicious. It makes a simple side dish such as rice that much better. I highly recommend it.
