These work really well for organizing, storing, and accessing sockets. The holder lays flat in the toolbox drawer, so you can use these in shallow drawers. I use drawer liners, and don't have any problems with picking up the entire holder (i.e. it doesn't get stuck to the drawer). I personally don't stick them to the side of the toolbox, as I don't want to risk any sockets falling out / getting bumped. The magnet is good for holding the sockets in place, but if you drop it, or bang it on something, then be prepared to chase a few. I haven't really had any problems with this though. There is room to mark or label the socket size (using permanent marker), which makes finding the socket you're looking for really painless -- and makes putting them away simple. If you have an apprentice/helper/gopher, this makes life easier for everyone. The deep-well side is deep enough to hold short extensions, or adapters and knuckles (or wobble). However, if you have a fully loaded Holder, picking it up solely by the handle tends to cause a crack over time -- not in the handle, but actually at the end of where the magnet is mounted, where the holder tends to flex. This isn't a dealbreaker, but is a design flaw to be aware of. I prefer the bright orange over the red, purely for contrast/readability of my labels. Regardless, I use these in every toolbox I own. Well worth it.

I would leave a five-star review because the quality of the material and the magnet are fantastic but the slot holes are kind of brand specific if you have heavy walled impact sockets they are not going to fit into these. My snap-on sockets fit in there but my Mac sockets will not. My Carlisle impact sockets fit perfectly but harbor freight brand or power built and Stanley are too thick to fit into these holders which I bought them to organize my miscellaneous sockets which did not work out so I ended up giving them to a co-worker

tray works good holds all the sockets but I find the magnet a little week. If your attaching it to a vertical surface it will slide down until it hits something that stops it. fortunately i store it in a tool box drawer

If you plan on never taking this out of your tool box this for you. But if you plan on bringing it near your work space be careful not to get any chemicals on the plastic, it will melt.

I got these to replace the traditional socket holders. The do a good job, really easy to pull a socket and put them back in place. They hold the sockets good enough but if you drop one on the floor it you get an explosion of sockets flying in all directions. Magnets can only thank so much! So, don't drop it!

I have both the 1/4 version and the 3/8 version. - I bought the 1/2 version but had to send them backWorks ok, the 3/8 version will hold impact or chrome 7mm to 21 but let's be honest who has anything bigger then 19mm or smaller then 9mm in 3/8The 1/4 version also has more slots then you actually need - wasting spaceBoth the 3/8 and 1/4 versions do hold the sockets well and work well in shallow drawersUnfortunately the 1/2 version does not hold 10mm to 24mm. (standard sizes for 1/2 sets). The 1/2 set does not have the magnet to hold it in the drawer - It instead has feet. the feet tend to slide even with a good drawer liner.Even though the 3/8 one would in theory would work for 1/2 sockets the channels are not large enough for 1/2 impact sockets at least. They need to make the 1/4 and 3/8 with with 24 slots to save drawer spaceThey need to make a half inch version with 30 slots

I was amazed at the quality of this product compare to some of the cheaper options. Feels very solid and the magnets are strong and hold the sockets well in the storage caddy. I ordered several of each in both black and red. I will see how the 1/2 does, the 3/8 was heavy with all the magnets, but expect the same build quality in the 1/2.

Pro . . . you can organize a lot of sockets in a fairly shallow drawerCon . . . the magnet is EXTREMELY weak. To be clear, I'm using it to organize Snap-on chrome sockets

Great socket holder. Magnet holds sockets well, even large sockets don't fall out when upside down.
