I switched to Ceylon cinnamon as the healthier choice for tea. The sticks are soft so I can break a stick in half with my fingers, put it in a mug or a thermos, and repeated add hot water for many cups of tea. It took a minute to get used to the subtler taste, but now I find it satisfying.

No aroma, no cinnamon smell or taste, no flavor. What happened this time. I have purchased twice or thrice and they were excellent but this very batch is not good at all. Not value for money. High priced

Very good. Bag of cinnamon does not smell like cinnamon more like a pepper but the flavor is milder than I was used to and does have the cinnamon flavor when consumed. I put mine into my coffee pot for flavoring. I did note that the thinner sticks seem to crumble more easily than I am used to also. My last purchase just said it was from Indonesia. In reviewing the best cinnamon nutritionally this was what I found was recommended so Ceylon is what I purchased.

The Frontier Co-Op ceylon cinnamon sticks are excellent quality and the best ceylon cinnamon product that I have purchased to date. I used them to make organic tea and the flavor was amazing. The sticks came seal in a bag as advertised. The only downside is the bag is not resealable. These sticks are a quality product and I will definitely purchase them again.

Korintje is my preferred variety of cinnamon, but I wanted to try the Ceylon for a change. I found it to be more of a chemical-tasting spice than Korintje. Korintje is much sweeter, so you can use a lot of it if you want to, and it doesn't get hot or overpoweringnot the Ceylon type. I only say this if you are a regular Korintje and wish to try Ceylon. I will find a use for the Ceylon cinnamon somehow.

Grind this up and it's hard to stop sticking your nose in, or sampling a little on your fingers. In the past, I had ordered ground Ceylon cinnamon from two different suppliers, but decided to try this to be sure exactly what was going in my food. The others were fine, but had nowhere near the fragrance and flavor of this. I suggest grinding it, though perhaps just soaking it in liquid would capture some of the flavor. I only hope that the farmers and processors of this benefit, too. It's difficult to conceive of the amount of labor it would take to strip the bark off the trees and dry and bundle it.

I wish it had more spice and aroma to it but overall have a good taste. I read that Ceylon sticks are less spicy but are better quality cinnamon sticks.

I bought these cinnamon sticks for some elderberry syrup I was making. I bought these because of the health benefits are better than the normal cinnamon sticks you buy in the grocery store. They are fragrant and worked beautifully.

Cinnamon sticks are a perfect size - fits smaller cups/mugs and/or to-go cups that have a lid. Sticks are also have a great aroma that has maintained for several months!

For those confused, this is ceylon cinnamon. Not cassia cinnamon. That is why it is so different. Ceylon is better quality than cassia health wise but it is different in taste and appearance. Just to clarify, cassia tastes like the cinnamon in cinnamon toast crunch cereal and ceylon tastes like the cinnamon altoid mints, so it is great for tea which is what I use it for.

These are true ceylon cinnamon sticks, which you can tell by the more mild aroma and taste as well as by the more golden color and softer texture. While I love the spicier taste of the vietnamese/saigon cinnamon, my understanding is that large quantities are toxic for the liver. As I intend to make cinnamon tea to help regulate my blood sugar, I wanted the true ceylon cinnamon. I have bought many Frontier products over the years and they are always top notch.
