Mission: The mission of Eras Senior Network is to engage and support seniors, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in leading meaningful lives. Eras Senior Network works hard every day to help create communities where seniors and adults with disabilities are fully embraced through collaborative partnerships, coordination of services, and intergenerational volunteer activities.

Results: In 2020 Eras served 1,954 clients in Milwaukee County. Our volunteers helped provide over 14,000 rides to our clients including trips to the grocery store, medical appointments, and other necessary appointments. Our Milwaukee volunteers also made 11,912 wellness calls to isolated seniors experiencing loneliness. During the spring and fall, 248 Milwaukee clients received seasonal yard cleanup services helping reduce the risk of injury among older adults. In Waukesha County, we served over 680 clients with a total of 5,551 rides given with the help of our volunteers. 9,477 wellness calls were made to seniors affected by loneliness and isolation, and 224 Waukesha-based clients received outdoor services helping them safely maintain independence in their homes.

Programs: Transportation to medical appointments, the pharmacy, and grocery stores, assistance with grocery shopping, wellness calls, and yard cleanup. All our services are provided at no cost to clients thanks to the support of our caring volunteers.
