This is a genuine Crescent brand wrench. It is heavy, solid, and built to last. I use this one when I need more torque, and it makes easy work of removing stubborn bolts. This wrench is worth every penny and I would definitely recommend it.

The model AC212BK chrome finish adjustable wrench by Crescent and sold by Pattern Professional is made in Vietnam and "finished" in PRC (china). I noticed out of the box that the movable jaw has a little more play than my older Crescent wrench I bought 20 year ago. There is no country of origin stamped or printed on this wrench either. This is a normal functioning Crescent wrench. I have no issues other than the machining tolerances and the wrench has done well in frequent use. 4 stars

Got this for my toolbox and I love crescent quality. I'm still using my crescent tools I got 2 decades ago and they come with lifetime warranty. No issues with the adjustment on this wrench, perfectly smooth. Nothing special or fancy, it's just a really good quality wrench that should last you for life. Would recommend but never need to buy again with the warranty.

As with all the Crescent tools I've gotten this wrench is very well made and heavy duty. Adjusting size is smooth but not loose and stays in position when in use. There is very little wobble when using or adjusting and the parts fit well together.

Adjustable wrenches are a must have for small home projects and other maintenance. Sometimes your kit doesn't have the exact sized wrench for the job, or you lost it somewhere and need to use something in a pinch. Even though it's optimal to get as much surface contact as you can with your wrench to the fastener, but in some applications, it's not really a big issue. That's where these wrenches shine. The jaws on this wrench open up very wide, up to a whopping 1.5". The wrench's alloy is tough and corrosion-resistant. Unfortunately, this wrench does not have a rubberized grip and the jaws have a bit more play than I would like. If this was a tool that I used frequently, it may be a dealbreaker, but for backup applications, I am content.

I'll keep it simple - this adjustable wrench is capable of doing exactly what you would expect and need from a wrench of this size. While a crescent product, in hand, it really feels no different than a nicer harbor freight or northern tool. Operates just as smoothly, you're just paying a few extra bucks for the name.

The wrench overall appears to be well made and solid. The settings for the wrench are accurate as can be see in the photos. The 5/8" setting is accurate to a 5/8" box wrench and also matches the settings of my other adjustable wrench. The wrench jaws felt a little loose compared to my other adjustable wrench, but don't think that will have any affect on any of my applications. It is almost twice as expensive than an off brand adjustable wrench so if price is a factor for you this isn't the wrench for you hence the 4 star rating.

This wrench gets it done! Been using it on some of my larger jobs now, and it really can't be beat when you need flexibility. I've got some other adjustable wrenches, and this one is top notch when it comes to quality. Casting was nice, no rough edges or burrs. The adjustment mechanism moves the jaws smoothly, and the jaws don't walk around like they do on my cheaper wrenches. Highly recommended, the extra few dollars are worth it to me to have the original namesake Crescent wrench!

This adjustable Crescent wrench works great! What else is there to say - Crescent makes GREAT tools. This is the original, OG, of adjustable wrenches. Get this one and don't look back, you won't regret it. It's heavy duty, it's extremely well manufactured. It's tough, its durable. Sometimes adjustable wrenches have a bit of loose-ness in the jaw but not this one. It's tight with no loose play, which is exactly what you want when using an adjustable wrench. They included gradations in SAE and metric on both sides for the size the jaw is open, which can be helpful. Truly a solid tool, you will get lots of great use out of this wrench. Highly recommend!
