This worked well under our pool. We didn't have the ground leveled or prepared ahead of time, and this pad kept the pool safe from punctures and also kept the ground soft to walk around on, so the kids didn't notice bumps and rocks. It's very thick, but has a seam down one side. I worried the kids would feel it, but they didn't seem to notice. Will continue using it as long as we have the pool!

I have a regular sort of grass sort of weeds yard, my 18x10 pool is on a tarp and then this, can't feel a thing underneath.

This worked well under our pool. We didn't have the ground leveled or prepared ahead of time, and this pad kept the pool safe from punctures and also kept the ground soft to walk around on, so the kids didn't notice bumps and rocks.
