assembly was straightforward and after adjusting the rails, fitment was spot on. The template was useful for drilling into the bed on my 2024 Rebel G/T. AMP products are good quality as I have the AMP power running boards also.

The Bed Extender works as advertised but when assembled the bed extender does not sit evenly on the truck bed it appears to have a slight torque in the bars that keeps one end about 1/2 inch higher than the other. I disassembled the item and looked at every part carefully. I reassembled the extender and followed the assembly instructions very carefully. This did not change the uneven offset. Since I drilled holes in my truck to mount the two side pivot points (as recommended in the instructions) I did not want to drill a new hole 1/2 inch lower on one side to allow the extender to lay flat. I will live with it but not happy. I just need to use the extender so did not have time to request a new replacement. If the extender had laid evenly I would have given this item 5 stars.
