Great product, well designed, but unfortunately allows loose framing lumber and other smaller items to slide out. I have seen some modifications on YouTube. I like the fact it can be easily removed and reinstalled as needed. If your tailgate is locked, it can't be removed - which I found to be a clever security feature. Overall, pretty happy with it as I make the adjustment to a 5.5' pickup bed.

I recently bought a 2020 F-150 to replace my '07. Unfortunately, the bed extender offered by Ford for the 2020 blocks the on/off switch for the bed lights. I know, first world problems.This was the best product I could find to meet my needs: a bed extender and to keep cargo from rolling around in the truck bed. However... I wasn't willing to drill into my truck bed, so I also purchased the no-drill kit. The kit arrived about a month after the bed extender (popular item?).I finally had a day without rain or snow and assembled the bed extender and installed the no drill kit. The kit was confusing marking the parts as right and left. Apparently, right = passenger side. And the assembly was challenging. I could not get the left (driver's side) inner and outer bumpers to align. The first three pictures in this post show the gap. I am contacting the vendor and am optimistic for a solution.

I had one for years and then got a tonneau cover and the rails were in the way to flip back and forth. This one is tapered and not obstructed by the tonneau rails. My first one was already assembled. This one required assembly which was kind of a pain. Each center tube needs to be the exact same length and requires some adjustment. It is a must have for me though and an awesome product.
