Makes your daughter happy when she cannot understand how to plug in a wall wart type of power supply into a box that it won't fit into. Plug it into an extension cord I say. We need a very short one she says, so doesn't get one and waits for me to have a go at it, I just look for a short one that is a very heavy gauge so it won't have any issues transferring a full 20amps if it needs to.

Perfect for what I needed it for. A used frig for the garage and since the property is 101 years old even when they updated the detached garage electrical they didn't put the outlets in great spots that stayed hot. I've got it plugged in where the garage door opener is for now until I can get an electrician to do some updates for me.

Needed just a little bit longer cord for my refrigerator. This cord works great. The best way to tell? Grip the cord after the appliance has been working under load for a while. It should still be stone cold. If not, you need a heavier gage wire. Tip: American wire gage (AWG) smaller numbers mean bigger wire. For example: 10AWG is bigger than 12AWG

I bought this to power my fireplace electric heater inset. The manufacturer recommended a 12 gauge wire. For my prior insert I used a 14 gauge extension cord and the connection between the extension cord and the insert cord was over heating and burning after about 3 years.

This extension cord is just what I was looking for and works very well to power a fan in my basement. It is also a great value. I highly recommend it.
