Custom Order FAQ
How much does a custom item cost?
The final prices of your custom products are based on these four things:
Types: The type of item you select. Some colors or sizes of blank products require extra charges.
Colors: The number of ink colors in your design. The fewer colors you have in your design, the lower price for the custom products.
Locations: The number of printing locations. Each printing location on a custom item (front, back, chest, sleeve, etc.) demands a specific set-up to execute.
Quantity: The total number of items in your order. The more custom products you order, the lower your price will be per item!
How can I place a custom order?
You can feel free to place a custom order online.
Firstly, you can find the right products on our Promotional Products Page. There is a wide range of promotional products in different styles and colors, such as Apparel, Caps, Drinkware, and More.
Secondly, you can click "Start Designing" to go to our online design editor page and add text, icons, or artwork to the products as you like. When you finish designing, you can save the design and select the quantity, and then you can place an order successfully.
Is it possible to see a proof/mockup before placing my order?
Yes, you can add text, artwork in Opentip Online Editor and preview your design instantly. You can also send a vectored artwork to supportb@opentip.com and put the item# on the subject line, then we will make a proof/mockup for you.
How can I design my products online?
You can use our online design editor to design your custom products by clicking "start designing" on the product page. The online design editor has many great features to help you complete a perfect design.
What imprint methods do you provide?
We offer several imprint methods to our customers, including digital printing, heat transfer, screen printing, laser engraving, debossing and embroidery decoration. If you need other printing methods or crafts, don't hesitate to call us or tell us your custom need via email.
What are the imprint colors?
The imprint color is the color that will be used to print your artwork/design. If your artwork has more than one color, please choose two colors or three colors printing. We can change your own logo to simplify the number of colors printed, or to print in one color.
What artwork formats do you accept?
We accept illustrator eps, ai, pdf, psd, jpeg, png, tif or gif. If you have a different format, please contact us at supportb@opentip.com.
Can I see the status of my order?
You need to create an account before you order a product. Login your account at Opentip, then you can see the process of your order at homepage.
How soon will I receive my order?
Most orders can be fulfilled within 20 days, including customization time and shipping. Delivery varies with seasonal demand and order size, but express service may be possible if needed. In case of rush orders, please email our customer service team.
How do I track my package?
You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your item(s) leaves the warehouse. You can also track your package by visiting order history. You will find the tracking number under the order status. By clicking the tracking number, you will be led to the carrier website to see the tracking result.
If I want to order in bulk, do you offer volume discount?
Yes. You are allowed to place a bulk order of multiple sizes and colors. The more you buy, the more you save. It will be less expensive for us to set up and print a large number of the same design than it is to set up and print a small number of a single design.
Can I get a sample to check the quality?
Yes, Opentip offers samples for most of our personalized products. Just contact us and fill the sample request form, then you can get the right sample product from us.
