Please be aware that this light needs to be grounded and is not a plug and use type of light. I was surprised to find out that I could not just plug the light in and use it. The light requires to be grounded and hooked up, which was way more involved than I expected it to be. The overall design was nice, the copper exterior and detailing really made for a nice outside light.

This light is heavy, it's definitely solid brass as advertised. I included two close-up pics of the body of the light, one taken right after I installed it, the other three weeks after installation to show it's starting to patina. In my flower bed I have an elevated sprinkler that puts a lot of water down on the lens of the light. The pic of the lens is also 3 weeks after install, other than the mineral buildup on the outside of the lens it looks perfect, no sign of water intrusion. Also comes with greased wire nuts. I received this for free but I need to replace a couple of other landscape lights in my yard and will definitely buy more of this model... it's definitely five stars for me.

This spot light connects to any 12V low voltage yard light system. Installation takes a bit. I had to run 30 feet of cable to get out to a big tree it is shinning on at night. It is well made. From brass and copper so you can rest assured that it isn't delicate. The brass light fixture is really nice. It looks more gold. The light is bright, lighting up into the canopy of the huge tree. I think it is a little high priced, but considering the material it is made from and how well it works, it can't be off much.

This gorgeous, upscale landscape light is made of quality materials, including solid brass and copper housing. Pros: - Hefty construction and gorgeous design, made with quality metal parts (copper and brass) - Warm LED light and directional fixture - Easy bulb replacement - Waterproof - Hardy plastic spikes - As good or better than other high-end professional landscape lights Cons: - Price is substantially higher than other quality landscape lights on the market - No "zoom" feature - Copper may turn green over time I highly recommend this solid, beautiful fixture.

The first impression you get picking up this light is that it is SOLID. It's very heavy copper/brass construction. It's attractive, and gives a very high quality vibe, even just to pick it up. The included bulb is quite bright, and directional, as would befit a "spot light". It would be nice if the manufacturer/seller would tell you the exact bulb to replace the one that comes with this spot light. As best I can tell, MR16 specifies the shape of the bulb, "multi-faceted reflector". But those come with different bases. This one, I believe, is a GU5.3 base. The pins are spaced at 5.3 mm apart. I don't have much experience with this sort of landscape lighting, but the bulb simply shuts down if you don't give it enough current. I was hoping to experiment with dimming it with current or voltage control. That does not appear to be possible. My 12 V transformer is still on order, so I haven't had a chance to try that, but the bulb takes about 6 W from my bench power supply, and appears to have a constant power controller (higher voltage results in lower current, with no change in brightness).

I give this landscape spot light nothing less than a 5 star. Materials are pure copper, solid brass, and a plastic stake to drive into the ground. This comes with a MR-16 led spot and it is crafted with care and precision. This is a case of you get what you pay for, worth every penny. 5

Solid brass and copper, screws into a plastic base. Well sealed from the elements with O-rings, and yet easy to get to the bulb if it ever needs to be changed out. I got this to light my flag at night and it's certainly bright enough- in fact I'm going to have to either move it or block it better because it's too bright aimed down my street. Even after being outside for only a few days, it's already starting to show a patina on the copper tube surrounding the light. It's beautiful and works very well for its intended purpose.

This is a very nice exterior light. The light is well made and the brass looks super classy. I made the mistake of thinking this was a solar light, so it won't work in my yard, but I'm keeping it until I can get some electrical wires run toward the front of my house. Looking forward to putting this to use.

I was instantly surprised/pleased at how heavy duty this fixture was. Much more so than other metal fixtures I've looked at. Really like the simple styling of this fixture. I'm curious and excited to see how the copper will patina over time. Base and housing is solid brass and the ground steak is beefy ribbed plastic - all built to last. LED lamp is bright and on the warmer side (as preferred). Installation was easy to the existing light system. My only concern is that it looks so nice, I'm afraid to put one in the front yard (near the street) for fear it might be stolen...
