This is a great mold. The impressions are deep. I used moldable foam clay. The impressions were great! I do recommend and see how this can be used with several mediums. Great Quality!

I like this impression mat. It is nice, thick (not breakable) and easy to clean. They make impressions really easy in multiple materials, including polymer clay. I don't have any complaints, except make this in blue for those not a fan of pink. I can highly recommend this impressions set.

This is a very good impression mat. I don't make cakes but I originally got this for candle molds. Unfortunately I didn't realize the molds for gum paste are much thicker and stiffer than silicone candy molds that work so well with wax. My mother is a professional cake maker and she has the exact same mold and she says it works very well. I'm still going to try to use the shallow impressions to make thin wax molds to decorate my candles, but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. But this gum paste mold is professional cake maker approved.

There are two impression mats included in this set. The larger one is 4-1/2" x 7-3/8" x just over 5/16" thick. the smaller one is 4-1/2" x 6-3/8" x just over 3/8" thick. The advertised size is 5" x 7.87", so they are a little smaller than advertised, but close. These are single-sided impression mats. The impression details shown in the product description are accurate. The impression details are sharp and clean. They flex well. The impression mat material is firm, allowing easy trimming of the impressions being made. Useful hints to successfully make and release impressions are included on the packaging. Overall, this is a nice set, though slightly smaller than advertised, as one would expect from Wilton.

I used this item for making flowers out of clay, a little cornstarch in the mold and It produced really clean crisp details from the mold. Using a release agent keeps the mold in better condition.

This Wilton silicone flower impression mat is super thick and durable, though won't really work for my application which was to make molds with a casting compound. The stem and one flower have the depth I need for durability, but the impressions are fairly shallow. I was inspired by another person's review though. She made flower fondants and they are beautiful. Since I am just beginning to enjoy baking, I may just try my hand at fondant using these molds. I love all the Wilton candy molds I've used in the past.

I got this because my husband and I do cakes on the side and at time need some easy floral textures and thought this would be a good addition to our tools. This set comes in a plastic box and each pad is fairly thick and sturdy. 1 pad has spots for different flower interiors and petals, and the other pad is has leaf textures. The textures are deep enough so that when using fondant or clay, you get a good transfer of the texture. We played around with them, and using our petal cutters, we were able to create some nice flowers and leaves fairly quickly. Overall - like them! The pads are fairly sturdy and will last a long time. The textures are deep, so when pressing clay or fondant, you get a good transfer of the texture, which is nice. These will come in very handy in our floral tool kit!

This is a gift for the holidays, but I was surprised at how heavy they are and the impressions look clean and look like they are going to make beautiful flowers.
