Mission: To facilitate the rehabilitation of healthcare professionals who have physical or mental conditions that could compromise patient safety and to monitor their recovery.
Programs: Wphp facilitated rehabilitation and provided monitoring services for 306 physicians and other health care practitioners who have physical or mental conditions that could compromise patient safety. Wphp received and investigated 191 referrals, admitted 67 clients into the program, and discharged 79 clients during 2016.Wphp provided 59 educational presentations to approximately 4,004 health care practitioners on the topic of physician health during 2016.
