Visaton's 9067 W250 10" woofer is designed to be a high performance replacement speaker at a budget price point. A foam surround and ribbed, treated paper cone offer longevity while capturing that classic sound from the golden era of loudspeakers. A healthy 3 mm of Xmax and excursion limit of ±10 mm allows this driver to pump out some serious bass in many different sized sealed, acoustic suspension or ported speaker cabinets. A smooth frequency response makes for easy integration with many different midrange speakers and tweeters.
Note: For best bass response, install the W250 into one of the following cabinets:
A 1.06 cubic foot cabinet tuned to 46 Hz with a 2-1/2" diameter port that is 4-3/8" long.
A 1.77 cubic foot cabinet tuned to 38 Hz with a 2-1/2" diameter port that is 3-1/2" long.
A 2.47 cubic foot cabinet tuned to 38 Hz with a 2-1/2" diameter port that is 3-1/8" long.
