Mission: To partner with our members and supporters in creating food security, building community, and providing a platform for personal development while affirming dignity.
Target demographics: stabilize families and communities by helping provide food security with low-income families.
Direct beneficiaries per year: around 350 families through our co-op program that meets 26 times per year, and about 400 more families that received food from our mobile pantry distribution program.
Geographic areas served: the Atlanta Metro area and our offices are based in the westside of Atlanta in the old Atlanta Community Food Bank building.
Programs: We establish and run member-run food cooperatives for low-income families that provide food security and help stabilize families. We provide training to interested organizations and individuals who want to run our brand of member run food cooperatives.
