Mission: Supports organ transplant recipients and their families

Programs: We offer financial assistance to transplant patients in Arizona in crisis due to a transplant. In 2020 we funded helped over 40 families with lodging, travel expenses to hospital, utilities, and medications. Our education program offers free seminars open to the public on topics relevant to transplantation. The seminars are every other month, feature an expert in the field, and have a Q&A at the end. Our support group program hosts support dinners every week and averages 10 participants at each meeting. The participants also volunteer in community outreach events to help other transplant recipients, candidates and families. The Transplant Team AZ is an athletic program made up of 50 transplant recipients or donor family members. We meet monthly as a way to promote healthy lifestyles for participants. Every other year we participate in the Transplant Games of America held in various cities around the US.
