Mission: Our mission is to "Strengthen children in foster care and empower the families who care for them. "Bloom is a private, non-profit foster care organization located in Fayetteville, GA. We recruit, support and train our foster families who give displaced children hope and a home life for the next phase of their lives. We believe every child deserves the chance to be the best person they were meant to be.

Target demographics: Foster children from 90 counties in Georgia through The Bloom Coset program, and foster children from babies through age 18 who live within a 50-mile radius of Fayette County, GA through the Bloom Foster Care program.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 4,500 foster children.

Programs: Bloom Our Youth, Inc. (formerly Fayette Youth Protection Homes) advocates for foster children and families using a family-centric, three-pronged approach, which includes: recruiting, training, and certifying foster families through the Bloom Foster Parenting program; providing specialized training and support to Bloom foster families through the “Bloom University” training program, and operating The Bloom Closet (formerly "Gracies Closet"), a free clothing resource center for foster children in Georgia.
