Works phenomenal until your liner pot gets scratched up ..and good luck finding a replacement as they purposely don't offer any for sale ..if you buy one recent it's really back logged and dated therefore replacement products are unavailable I'm really not happy I've had mine less than 5 yrs..won't ever purchase again because of the replacement parts issue

Bought mine on advice from a local(3 cup) in Japan when I was stationed there in 2002. Still going strong, and makes the rice perfect every time. Easy to use and keeps the rice warm. Always remember to clean your rice thoroughly (rinse in cold water until the water is clear)before cooking and fluff the rice after it's done cooking. 20 years old and going strong? Yes it is, as good as the day I purchased it!

Not the best from Tiger, but it gets the job done. The one thing I don't like about this cooker is that you have to soak the rice before you turn it on to cook. I think it's worth just making the investment in one of the popular white/floral ones because that will get your rice perfect every time. There was a learning curve with this one to be honest... I will continue to use this rice cooker until I absolutely need a new one though.

Other than the ridiculous price, this is the best rice cooker ever. Keeps rice warm and moist for at least 8 hrs.

Works great. I bought one twenty years ago. It still works fine, but the pan is scratched through tap many usages. I am glad they still make this model. I bought the one made in Japan. Everything's works great. Four stars because the outer lid does not close tightly, like a screw is loose. It's does not affect functionality now but I'm not sure about the future. With a a well known brand like Tiger, I expect better design and build.
