Overheating and ruining rice. My first rice cooker from tiger lasted over 10 years. I've had this for less than a year.

Bought mine on advice from a local(3 cup) in Japan when I was stationed there in 2002. Still going strong, and makes the rice perfect every time. Easy to use and keeps the rice warm. Always remember to clean your rice thoroughly (rinse in cold water until the water is clear)before cooking and fluff the rice after it's done cooking. 20 years old and going strong? Yes it is, as good as the day I purchased it!

Easy to use. Cooks rice perfectly. Wish it had a on off switch instead of pulling out cord to turn off.

After using this for a month, I have difficulty using it, it does not close properly. Steam comes out from the edges. Unsafe. And rice is not cooked properly. What do I do with this now! I was trying to save money and here I just wasted.

Brought this to replace a similar cooker. Cooks rice fast and good consistency. The model is made in JPN so the quality is great. My last cooker lasted me nearly 8 years. It did not go bad but I just wanted to change it out.
