I purchased these to replace the front brake rotors on my 2013 MINI Countryman Cooper S ALL4. I needed the 6mm socket to use with the Lisle 29200 3/8" Hand Impact Tool Set to loosen the screw that holds the rotors in place. Worked great but I did spray FREE ALL Deep Penetrating OIL first and let it sit for a few minutes before I attempted to hammer away. Took about 6-10 swings to do it. I decided to buy these stubby ones because I was afraid that the longer sockets would break with hammering.

Bought this set mainly for the 9/16 stubby impact hex to take care of hydraulic overspeed box plug failures. The shallow design makes it so we dont have to pull the whole overspeed box from the hydraulic pump which takes at least 45 minutes longer to do and while losing gallons of hydraulic oil to the oil pans. Blow molded case is nice for organization. Leave it in my rollcart at all times

I used the Sunex 10mm stubby hex to finally break the rusted fill plug on the front differential of my 4x4. I was using a standard hex socket but it started to round the corners. I paired the Sunex hex with my trusty breaker bar and cracked the seal the first time. Highly recommend.

Very happy with this purchase. Sunex produces very consistent high quality impact sockets, and these hex drivers are no exception. The stubby profile are excellent for those cramped areas. I.E. Brake caliper bolts.<br />Have used these numerous times both with impact gun, and by hand with no visible signs of wear. Hex tips are cut precisely providing reliable engagement in fasteners. Drive socket also precisely cut, fitting other tools well with minimal &#34;slop&#34;. Sunex has rapidly become my go-to manufacturer for all my impact socket needs.

Works perfect, I have put some serious torque on them so far. I had to use my 3/4 impact gun on the 10mm to remove a drive motor from a Bobcat at work. It spun the bolts right out. I really bought the kit for the 5/16 but have come to use a lot of the sizes more than I though I would. I think this is my go to kit because it is so compact and easy to bring over the the bolt, since I am not good at guessing which size is which with hex head stuff. They are to stubby for some things, but for the price it is worth having in the tool box.
