Mission: San Diego History Center (SDHC) was founded by San Diego businessman and philanthropist George W. Marston in 1928, then as the San Diego Historical Society (SDHS). Today, the San Diego History Center seeks to tell the diverse story of our region - past, present and future - educating and enriching our community, preserving our history and fostering civic pride. SDHC's core programs and services include: exhibitions; educational programs; the operation of a research library; and scholarly publications.  (Less)
