Mission: THE SALAAM NETWORK (TSN) aims at creating harmony and wholeness in a highly diverse and divided city. Founded in mid-2016 by Dr. Riffat Hassan, internationally-renowned scholar-activist, its all-volunteer multi-disciplinary team of educators counters Islamophobia and other forms of bigotry, hatred and mistrust in Louisville, the city of Muhammad Ali, America’s best-known Muslim and a universal peacemaker. TSN’s has made around one hundred presentations documented on salaamnetwork. org along with many compelling testimonials from attendees. Results: Since its founding in May 2016 The Salaam Network has presented around 100 programs in the community at Churches, Temples, Mosques, schools, universities, libraries and other community venues. , 24 of those programs in 2019, with many more scheduled or being planned for 2020 as we continue to spread peace through knowledge and understanding.
