I really didn't think about what the quality of a 20$ reamer would be compared to the other cheapest which was $50. I really hope the picture quality is as good as it was when I took it through a lens.. If it's not, the cutting edge has been ground with what looks like an asphalt wheel. I could be wrong about this, but, I think when they cut the reamer they do so at an ever so slight angle so its not the same width the whole length of cut. The tip is smaller and then gets slightly wider. This is the opposite, the tip of the reamer measures at .2435 (bought it as .2430- so its already oversize) the end of the cut measures at .2425". Moral of story- if you need a finishing reamer to finish a hole... buy one that's a but more money. It's also not new, its a recycled reamer, not sure if its even straight.

I use this to ream the necks of any case that uses .308 projectiles. With all trimmed to same length after sizing, reamed to .306 and finished with a factory-crimp die, neck tension is consistent and groups as tight as I can get them. Also have a .2620 that I use for 6.5cm/.264

This .505 reamer measures correct per my micrometer and works well. I have only used it on soft brass so I can't comment on it's durability on hard metals. It didn't matter to me, but note that this .505 reamer is a bright steel finish, not black oxide as some of the photos make it appear.
