Mission: The mission of Purr Partners is to help homeless felines find loving, permanent homes through adoption and placement. We believe that all cats have value and deserve a chance to live their lives in a safe and caring home. We further believe that it is only through education and advocacy that there will come a time when there are no more homeless cats and all individuals and communities will extend kindness and hope to all cats whether companion animals, strays, or ferals. We support the belief that cats have an intrinsic value beyond their value to humans, and we will be advocates for cats everywhere through whatever means we have available.

Results: Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina. Incorporated in 2009 by two friends, 4 cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters -- where cats routinely loose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000.At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of nearly 4000 cats and are still growing!
