I used this product to repair the deteriorating rubber seal that was around the base of the steering wheel on my 67 year old classic car. The Permatex liquid rubber product filled in the gaps and it is as if I installed a brand new gasket! This was especially great considered they no longer make the original style gasket any longer.

Make your own applicator depending on the job. Works as expected, easy to apply, dries quickly, and just throw away applicator because it's just a piece of stiff cardboard with tape on it. Finished product looks good and feels very tough.
