Love these pencils and I have several of them scattered around my house so that I always have one available. I personally use them for my initial sketch in my watercolor artwork. Nice weight and feel in my hand. Good value as well.

Good quality pencil. I use them in my woodworking shop. They work great for marking wood. I use the 0.7mm. Like how they feel in my hand. They are easy to load new lead into.

I'm obsessed with this pencil. It's very lightweight, the eraser doesn't smudge and the lead isn't too dark. I love the design, mostly because whenever I don't use it for a long period of time, it's cool to the touch. I don't use to write, I use it to draw but it's great quality with either use. Be careful where you place it and how you use cause it breaks easily.

    This pencil is generally okay, but there's a tiny amount of give where the plastic body meets the metal barrel. This joint rests against my hand and I can feel that little bit of movement. It's being very picky, but it bugs me. The weight of the metal near the tip also throws off the balance, with the tip being much heavier than the upper portion of the pencil.<br /><br />The balance doesn't seem to be an issue for me when writing with this pencil. Unfortunately, that lack of solid joining of body to metal barrel bothers me just enough that this pencil has been relegated to use for the lead hardness I use the least. If you don't feel a strong need for the knurled metal grip on this pencil, save your money and go for one of the Pentel P205 models. To me they're just as functional and the single piece plastic body doesn't have any movement to it when writing. They aren't quite as &#34;grippy&#34; but I don't use so much pressure on my pencils that I need a special grip.

    Good quality, but little dinky eraser under the cap. I've had other Pentel Mechanical Pencils with a large vinyl eraser that will certainly last longer than the one on this pencil.
