WARNING: THESE ARE DANGEROUS AND DO NOT BLOW WITH 5x THE CURRENT! This is a products liability/manufacturing defect case waiting to happen. The sole purpose of the fuse is to blow when the current is too high. Somehow I’m able to get 5 A through a 1 A fuse. A small amount of wiggle room is normal, but not 5x the current! The filament simply starts glowing red and heats up SIGNIFICANTLY. I tested my circuit before putting it in its casing, but if I didn’t there is no doubt in my mind that it would have melted the plastic after a few minutes. (I used the through-hole PCB clips, not the in-line component. )Less importantly, they arrived with the plastic box open, so every fuse spilled out and they were all mixed together in the plastic wrap. I was able to separate them myself, but that is a major pain. (And yes, I confirmed that the fuse I used above was, in fact, a 1 A fuse by the marking “F 1A L 250V”.)

The fuses are in compartments and a table tells you the current rating. They are all mixed up so you can't figure out the correct size. They are not marked on the fuse either. The first fuse I used was open circuit even before I installed it. I needed a 1.5 amp fuse but they only had 2 amp fuses so I installed one. It lasted one dat then opened. It obviously wasn't a 2 amp rated fuse even though the cable on the box indicated that it was. I ended up installing a fuse labeled 15 amp even though the fuse link in it was very thin. You can't trust the fuse size chart on the box. The fuse holders were OK though.

Exactly as shown. Wire connectors are unusually heavy gauge for the lower-amperage fuses (not exactly one-size-fits-all).
