its a great game, good quality pieces. the packaging was completely different to what was advertised though (a black box with white print). the product inside is exactly as shown. will be ordering more in the future as gifts

Fun game. Better than having your kids sit in front of TV playing games or even worse the Ipad. Games are quick. 7 yr old boy plays well and he enjoys playing.

Box was was crushed on corners but other than that we can’t wait to play it.

I've never played regular Dominos so I can't give you a comparison there, but I can tell you that Tri-ominos was fairly quick and easy to learn.<br /><br />First thing that I noticed was that the quality of pieces seemed nice and solid. It also comes with nice trays.<br /><br />In this game you will be doing a lot of math, so if you want to touch up on your adding and subtracting skills then this is it. Tri-ominos will make you smarter.<br /><br />Players place down triangular pieces trying to match the 2 numbers on each side. As the game goes on, an interesting geometric shape starts to form on the table. No 2 game will be exactly alike.<br /><br />You score points as you put down a piece, but lose points if you have to draw a piece. So the idea is to get rid of all of your pieces and score as many points as you can.<br /><br />An added dimension comes from the bonus points. You score massive extra points by completing a Hexagon, or what they call a bridge.<br /><br />From the makers of Rummikub and Mastermind! If you like Rummikub and want to try something different, but still along the same lines, Tri-ominos might be the answer you're looking for!
