Used to play on some cheapy hollow plastic tiles. Compared to those these are cadillac. It is one of my favorite games.

Absolutley love this game. We played it when I was growing up and continue to enjoy the simple task of playing the game. This would be a fantastic game to teach young children about numbers and number combinations. The only complaint I have is this new box is terrible. It is diffucult to put the 4 plastic trays, the game triangle and the instruction booklet back into the box since it has a 'triangle' shape. It also does not fit in my storage closet very well becuase of the shape of the box. I wish they would go back to the standard square box.

Rediscovered tri-ominos and this set is great ... large pieces with small rounded metal knob in middle of each so numbers do not rub off when mixing for play.

I ordered 2 sets for my special education students. They love it and the holders really help those with small motor issues. The quality is amazing and so much better than the hollow black plastic ones.
