This review will be negatively critical. To be clear, we LOVE this blanket. But at current price of $90, I can't recommend it. The blanket is well made - while the lining "poofs out" as it's only stitched at the edges, it's very secure. This blanket is warm, and to this day it's coveted by kids and animals. It arrived silky smooth, with a fantastic wavy/bubly texture that truly was soft rabbit fur soft. SOFT. Then we machined washed it. After about three washings, the smooth fur wasn't. It became matted. And after more than 3 months of use and washing, our rabbit fur blanket turned into something more like a buffalo robe. See photo. Don't get me wrong - we still use and love this blanket, and we don't care as to how it's evolved. It's still warm, holding together, and coveted by all. But this is not a $90 blanket, not at all - especially if it's billed as rabbit fur but evolves/devolves into tufted buffalo fur. I love me a rabbit fur, and love me a buffalo skin, but I don't like being sold one option that turns into another. 2/5.
