These are my new go-to firewood tongs. They are perfect to use for re-positioning logs in the fire, and adding new logs without getting too close or having to just toss a log into the flames and hope it doesn't fall over!

These are so much fun because they are 18 inches long and sturdy enough to turn meat from that far, keeping yourself from having to get too close to the fire. Nicely designed with a unique locking device so you can lock the tongs in the 'closed' position for easier storage. I'm enjoying these.

Existing reviews are useless because tongs, pigtails, and spatulas are all mixed in. These are decent, and the body of the tongs has been stiffened enough to support their length but... the manufacturer used lousy rivets to hold the wood handles onto the steel frame, and they aren’t going to last forever. My guess is that the rivets will fail before any other part of these gets close to worn out. I’m fortunately an engineer, mechanic, and fair metalworker, so I’ll be able to fix these when they break. Your mileage may vary.
On the other hand, these are inexpensive relative to occupational tongs, so you get (a pretty version of) what you pay for. If you keep them inside and hand wash them, you may get a couple of years out of these.
