Outset 76503 Himalayan Salt Shots Set of 4, Price/each

I do like these, but over time they do start dissolving - fortunately they are rather thick and will last some time.

I ordered these shot glasses thinking I would like to use them for my mexican tequila obsession, but knowing that they are actual salt and will degrade over time, I am using them as simply decoration in my display cabinet. Gorgeous and good conversation starter, great idea for a gift!

Shots just got a whole lot easier with these salt shot glasses. They are indeed made of entirely salt. I'm not sure if one of mine is cracked or just interestingly designed, but so far, nothing is problematic. In fact, these are just the thing we needed. I don't like extra steps when I can avoid them, when drinking. So taking a shot out of a salt glass just made sense. However, you are trading that convenience for another "problem". Make sure you read the instructions on care. These things, as you can imagine, can break down over time so you have to be really methodical about how you use them. Please read the instructions to save yourself the stress later. Abide by them if you want your glasses to last.

This set of 4 Himalayan Salt Shot glasses are very stunningly well made pieces. They are not a practical piece, but definitely a fun novelty for special occasions and decorative. Because they are solely made out of Himalayan Salt they have special washing instructions and can not stay in water for too long. Because of this, they are like fine china and you may want to save them for special occasions. If you have a salt lamp you may notice if you don't turn it on for awhile it starts to weep because salt binds to moisture in the air. I have not notice these shot glasses doing that yet, but the air has been very dry. In addition to being shot glasses I think they would make decorative candle stick holders for fake candlesticks, like the battery operated ones. I don't know what the wax from real candles would do to the salt lamp, which is why I recommend using fake candles. These look great, especially under some mood lighting.

It's 4 solid chunks of pink salt. Great for drinks that require a salt rimmed glass. It does feel slimy when wet, but that's from the salt slowly melting. You can leave a drink in it for a few minutes to release a little salt into the drink. Used it a few times already including washing it. Surprised it doesn't wear down quickly. So far there doesn't seem to be any significant wear. I did dry it with a paper towel and let it finish air dry properly before storing in between uses.

These are so cool. I love the saltiness that they add to a tequila shot. Visually, they are beautiful and have nice unique swirls in each one. They look very nice displayed on our bar cart. Make sure to not wash them really with water as that will degrade the finish, and instead just wipe them down with a dry cloth. Very happy with these
