Needed to change ends on Mogami-brand 34;Studio Gold34; series. Turns out that cable uses this same family of Neutrik. I was able to change from straight to 90 degree without desoldering. Simply re-use the internal connector piece, leaving its wires connected. Also re-used the back nut, its the same as the new one, so it does not need to come off. One note, the 34;clocking34; feature will not do a 180 degree position, it does get as far as 3 and 9 O'clock, though.

They're great if you know what you're doing. I am a pretty experienced electronics tech and thought I had it right on the first go. I didn't. Second one went great, but the first was wasted. Too hard to get it all apart. Even if you're inexperienced, it can be done. Just do your best to figure it all out before you start soldering. I made the, 34;I've done this a hundred times,34; mistake on the first one. The one I did right is perfect.
