Just used mine the other day to lower my 30rth or so compressor down an aluminum roof. These things are usually about 100-200lbs each. I always wear gloves but on the rare occasion I havnt, I didn't have much trouble bare handing it either, not really slippery material, maybe when wet it could be an issue. Only real negative is, the rope is awfully thin, and for the guys with real big mitts, this may be an uncomfortable rope to be pulling toolbags up 50 feet or lowering even heavier stuff up and down, especially if it's wet as mentioned above. Durability wise it's still in good shape and no frays, i mentioned the aluminum roof part since most ropes tend to get cut up on the edges, the built in carabiner locks are great and let me do a lot more with it with less hassle.

Bought three to use to train my backline on spacing. Since I ordered the same length, I expected them all to be the same length. They varied. I had to work to make them all the same length. I was able to make my own flat line trainer.

Bought this to repel down a mineshaft... I recommend the rope. Not necessarily to use in a mineshaft though.

The carabiner opening has sharp edges and should not be allowed to come in contact with the rope. Maybe that is why the eyes of the rope are lined with metal. The biner is unmarked. I use the rope in the yard, not for life support.

They look to be well made and sturdy. I look forward to use them after the winter snow melts.

This rope was bought to carry on my car bug out bag in case it ever needs to be used and I have used it before to climb down a steep canyon and back up to make sure it would hold my weight and it did very impressed with the quality of the rope

This fit my need but it required frequent adjustment to stay where I wanted it to after I moved around a bit.

The line itself seems pretty sturdy but the metal hardware seems dangerously cheap. I removed both ends. I wasn't planning on climbing with this anyway but I would suggest not climbing with this. I wouldn't trust it.

The eyes at endcof ropes seem just heat shrinked on this should be the strongest point of the rope but its the weakest link. Rope itself is good however i will just be making my own knots to ensure my saftety.

It's a fine item, but had more heft than I needed. Was just looking for a static line to use for lowering and lifting packs on a recent canyon backpack. Though it would have done this quite well, it was a lot more rope than I needed. It was pretty heavy with all the steel clips and fittings.

I leave it in my car as an emergency rope for when I go up to the mountains. haven't used it on the trails yet, but overall, it is a very sturdy rope that I would have no problem using it for climbing. My only complaint is it's a bit on the heavy side. So not something I would take on a hike, if I wasn't planning on some type of climb. But it's a high quality rope with sturdy carabiners.
