Used the bolt extractor to remove rounded bolt from oil pan. One twist and it was loose. Good tool for the toolbox.

I had a broken glow plug in the head of my duramax. With some heat and penetrating oil I used one of these to remove it. I am super please with how well it gripped it as what was left was basically a round tube, no nut or anything.

I have rounded my last bolt on my driveshaft for my ram so I was super excited to get this set and finally take it off so I can change my u joints but after putting map gas on the screw then putting the socket on and start pulling I snapped right in half down the middle so now I have to wait again for a warranty socket

It has bailed me out a bunch of times working on rusty cars here in the midwest.very durable well worth the investment.ive used other cheaper products and even the matco and snap on ones but this one is better.

I can't speak more highly, about this Rocketsocket set. I used it for removing stripped and twisted bolts. Works great! Recently had to remove a oil plug that the damn auto dealer tightened with an impact wrench. Folks you're not supposed to tighten an oil plug that much!!! Needless to say, when I attempted to remove it, the bolt was rounded. Now I used a standard wrench not an impact driver and the bolt was toast. Luckily I had the Rocketsocket extractor set already on standby. I did have to wait to order a NEW oil plug from the dealer because they ultimately screwed this up. I will never go to a dealer to do anything anymore. Anyways, this is an awesome set to use. I recommend using a heavy mallet to tap the extractor onto the bolt a standard hammer doesn't have enough weight to drive it through the stripped bolt. Highly recommended and will use again and again.

I was dubious as to if they would work at first but, you just pick the correct size and proceed to back off the stripped fastener makes it super easy.

All pieces accounted for. Rocketsocket has an impeccable reputation. Haven't used these ones yet, but I've used my smaller Rocketsocket kit with outstanding results removing a stripped brake caliper mount bolt

I used the 11mm socket to remove a stripped m12 exhaust stud from a Mustang Cobra exhaust manifold. The stud was rusted/thread locked in and was extremely difficult to remove. My 1/2" ratchet broke (selector switch blew off and the pawl mechanism was destroyed). But this socket held on, so I got a replacement 1/2" ratchet, continued and pulled as hard as I could, and got the stud out. Very impressed. However, I have no idea how to get the socket off the stud now, lol. I didn't think this would work. But it does.
