Mission:
Meta House helps women struggling with drug and alcohol

addiction reclaim their lives and rebuild their families.

Its model program meets the unique needs of women and their children, ending the generational cycle of substance abuse.

Programs: Meta House provides 60 beds (43 women/17 children & infants) in its residential program. Approximately 70-100 women are served in the day treatment program. 28 apartments, ranging from one to three-bedrooms are available for homeless families headed by women who are in recovery and have completed residential treatment. Meta House gives priority to pregnant women and women with young children. Women in all treatment settings have access to program components including trauma counseling, living skills, AODA (alcohol and other drug abuse) education, relapse prevention, parenting classes, vocation/education services and art therapy. Children in residential treatment have access to child therapists, play therapy, "Mom & Me" groups and art therapy.
