Despite the appearance, these are tasty all by themselves. I recommend them over the flakes version which leave you with the need to brush your teeth afterwards.

I use the Dulse in a recipe from Anthony Williams' book Cleanse to Heal. It's for a delicious blueberry smoothie that detoxes heavy metals from your body (hip replacement). That's pretty much what I use it for and it blends really well with the bananas, orange, blueberries, spirulina, parsley and barley wheat grass powder.

After getting used to the smell, I really enjoy this product. I rinse off a piece and add it to my smoothies. It helps me get my iodine.

This reminded me of the dulse my grandparents brought me from Maine.They were from Maine amp; Nova Scotia. If you like Dulse this is a good product.
