Not a cast iron aficionado, but this 8" pan and it's 8" lid (bought separtely) really do well with high heat and the food not sticking. Think fried chicken, hand made mini pizza, etc.

I've only used this once, this morning to make a skillet breakfast. They may say it's pre-seasoned, but I highly advise seasoning it at least once before use because after I removed the food from the skillet, it left a lot behind and took a fews minutes of hard scrubbing under hot water to remove. I'm 73 with arthritis and that wasn't fun. With that said, it's a Lodge. You can't go wrong with Lodge. I have two other Lodge cast iron skillets, one which I've had for well over 20 years. It's not perfectly non-stick, even after many seasonings, but it cleans up easily regardless.

This is overpriced but very functional. It's heavy duty but lighter in weight, it's easy to use and simple enough to clean. Very durable and dependable. They forgot to include someone to cook with it and clean it for me overall satisfied with it.

La semana pasada me lleg el sartn, lo cure y realic todos los pasos de limpieza y cuidado. Es un sartn que no tiene antiadherente, pero es algo normal, la comida se pega, pero tambin puede ser normal, pero despus de utilizarlo varias veces, si no se cura, comienza a ponerse opaco y oxidado, una vez se vuelve a curar y se limpia sale un color negro como si deprendiera el recubrimiento de col del sartn. No se que tan bueno o malo sea eso.

This sweet little frying pan is the best that I have ever owned!! It is definitely value for money and not so heavy that I cannot handle it!! The best thing out there to season your pan with in between uses is PAM Vegetable spray!! It works like a miracle to keep your pan seasoned and ready for the next time!!
