I use these all the time to push pins and sockets and solder in new ones. These have been very useful, just be careful not to stab yourself when pushing stuck pins and sockets: You still have to push the pin/socket into the plug a bit to free the wings so the tool can bend them in and allow the pin/socket to slip out of the plug. Takes two hands for sure and you wish for three.

The tool seems to made well but I suppose I didn't read the description very carefully. I couldn't even use the tools with the exception of two wires. I have a 1970's Mopar and I needed to remove the "bullets" from the plastic connector of the ignition switch. So it seems that one tool is dedicated to Ford Products and their connector configurations, another tool is dedicated to GM and the third is referred to as "generic". None of the tubular tool positions was large enough to do 5 of the wires I needed to do but two wires were of a lighter gage wire and the largest tube tool did work on these. I have to keep the tools because you just never know when you will actually need one.

This set of terminal release tools will work on most connections out there. While not perfect, they are the best out there.

Very helpful to have when working on automotive wiring harnesses. I had been using little screwdrivers, etc and sometimes did damage to the couplings when attempting to take apart. As someone else mentioned, there is no chart incuded to tell you which to use on what, that is why the one star deduction.
