4020T Series Surface Mounted Closers
LCN's 4020T Series is the best performing heavy duty closer designed today.
The 4020T Series is designed specifically for institutional and other ruggest high traffic applications.
- Standard 4020 series closer is shipped with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws. See the Options tab for options.
- Sized cylinders for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0".
- Non-sized cylinder (4021) adjustable for interior doors to 4'6" and exterior doors to 3'6".
- Closer mounts top jamb (push side), specify right or left swinging door.
- 4021 cylinder meets ADA requirements.
- Standard or optional custom powder coat finish.
- Optional plated finish on metal cover, arm and fasteners.
- Optional SRI primer for installations in corrosive conditions is available with powder coat only.
- The 4020 Series is UL and cUL listed with regular or fusible link arms for self-closing doors.
- Tested and certified under ANSI Standard A156.4, grade one.

Door closer has already broken and it hasnt even been 2 months... This section of the arm is bent. There is NO WARRANTY on this product so I am out of luck, and I cant replace this with another brand without replacing the trim, repainting and filling the door, etc etc... :(

Great door closer. Very heavy duty, still very adjustable. I needed it for front door not to be slammed, yet to ensure it is reliably closed automatically. It does the job 100. Always quietly closes the door. I had to drill holes through the door to mount the closer as it is heavy and powerful and requires solid mounts. One drawback for my use is that the feature to hold door open, which is extremely useful for us, is friction based, so it applies significant force to arm mount when you unpark the door to close it. Requires pretty solid mounting for the arm. The hold open feature may not be used, which relaxes requiremens for silid arm mount. Operates quietly, and looks good with included cover box.

The instructions are almost useless. The company doesn't have any installation videos to help. Hope you have a lot of patience.
