I purchased this product to upgrade the King 8400 antenna in my Travel Trailer to a King 8500 equivalent. The internals transfer from one case to another as did the labels.

First time out of the box the only thing that worked was a red led. I tried several antennas and could not get any signal strength readings. I tried to call customer support and left two voice messages, but got no responce. I CALLED SALES, NO ANSWER! I tried email, but got no response! They took my money, sent me a non working unit and no answer from their customer support. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!

I had a lot of trouble getting a couple of over-the-air TV channels. Tried all types of indoor antennas and pre-amps, with no luck. Tried outdoor antennas mounted on top of fence. I could get 36 channels, but two of my favorite channels still had a lot of pixilation. Bought the Kings device and tested signals everywhere in an out of my house. I finally found the strongest signal in a certain point in my attic. I installed my antenna there and have had no TV signal problems since.

Was a total waste of money. Didn't do anything Researched and found out that tv signals can not be boosted !!
